Some of this music was made and performed by Lars “Lachen” Jonsson for a theater in the 90’s. In these performances he worked together with the singer Maria Wassrin. The songs became an important element in the dramatic storytelling.
The short plays (Scenic poems) of Nelly Sachs are rarely performed. It is her lyrics that has got the most attention. She won the Nobel prize in 1966.

All this musical material has been brought together on one album, together with some newly composed pieces. Everything is expanded, remastered or remixed. Despite different styles and changing expressions, it has become a strong musical whole.
You can find elements from his earlier solo albums of experimental, progressive music and artrock composition. But this has a more lyrical character. There is also one heavy old song played with Ur Kaos and Magnus Alexanderson-guitar, nr 9. (late 1980’s)
All songs are recorded and produced by Lachen, in The Forest studio, in the forests south of Linköping. 1996-1998 and 2020-2024.
